ready to POP (part deux)

Yes,
I agree,
it was unfair to not post a picture.
I had Marty snap a few today
while we were back at our favorite daffodil field.

Here 'tis.
The protruding belly:
And just in case you were hoping for a little more definition:
Lucy is sitting low at station zero.
Let's get these last four weeks moving!

3. a few minutes to read before bed

Easter Weekend...

...was perfect.
We loved all the time together as a family,
watching conference
and getting out in the sunshine.
We are so grateful for our Prophet
and our Eternal Family.

Thanks to Mary for this beautiful Easter outfit!
Dorothy looked lovely:)

Ready to POP

Sheesh!
Do I really have another MONTH until my due date?
I am feeling rather LARGE and in charge lately.
This is slightly ironic since
I am measuring a few centimeters small again
(I did with Dorothy too).
They did an ultrasound last week to check on Lucy,
so we had a chance to see her one more time.
"Everything looks good!"
That's what we like to hear.
They also said--
"you just don't carry 8 lb babies."
Also something I like to hear.
We're probably looking at another peanut
in the 6 pound range.
That I can handle.

On another note,
the rain finally stopped and we've been drying out
in these here parts.
Nothing beats some good sunshine after
days and days cooped up in the house
(no matter how lovely and wonderful that house may be:)

Here's a picture of Dot getting her vitamin D
after all the rain.
Oh, she just gets more delicious
every single day!

Fit for a buglet

Although I don't think she has seen one in real life,
Dorothy LOVES ladybugs.

So, with the help of my wonderful friend Mary,
we created these little ladies for
the little one's birthday.
Bugs have never tasted so good:)

1. talented friends
2. a relaxing morning
3. waffles for breakfast

Growing up

Since we moved into our new space,
Dorothy has been hitting all sorts of milestones.
She is seriously thriving in her new environment.
Two weeks ago,
within a day or two of being in her new space,
she began
1) full on walking
2) eating a ridiculous variety of grown-up foods
(including burritos, cod, curry, meatballs, and more)
3) going to sleep on her own with no fussing
4) sleeping through the nights (hallelujah!)
and
5) entertaining herself with books and toys for longer than 5 minutes

I just cannot believe how grown-up she has become all at once.
I love that she is making some of these changes
before her little sister comes,
but I hope she doesn't grow up too quickly on us.
She did fall asleep in my arms tonight while we were reading scriptures
and I savored every second.
It is really beginning to hit me how short of a time they are babies.
*sigh*

1. living in the moment
2. cameras that help us capture those moments
3. wet baby kisses

the big ONE.

An entire year.
Really?
I can't believe that our little Dot
is turning 1 today!

I can't believe how much she has grown
in just 1 year's time.

We love you, Dorothy!
Happy first birthday!

1. Being a mother
2. every day I get with Dot
3. milestones
