For Family Home Evening last night
we talked about GARDENS--
why they're important
and the blessings we get from having
and caring for one.

We took our cute patoots outside in the beautiful weather

and took a look at our own garden.

I'm so grateful to have grown up in a family that gardened
and to have married into one that does too!

It is definitely something I want to pass onto our little ones.
Dot already seems comfortable out in the green:)

1. seeing leaves come up on my first potato plants!
2. that summer is right around the corner
3. knowing that over the next few months we'll get to enjoy
the fruits (and vegetables!) of our labors:)
